"Slugger" started his specials career by going Best In Specialty Show at the Southern California Beagle Club Specialty in January 1999. He went on to win nine group placements for 1999 and another Specialty Best of Variety at the Blossom Valley Beagle Club Specialty. He is handled by Rob Santini. Slugger is proving an excellent sire.His first champion, Ch. Just-Wright Southpaw is already doing some nice winning. Lefty's brother, Joey (Just-Wright Joltin' Joe) has already won a Specialty Sweepstakes and 4 & 5 point majors. In all, Slugger has six offspring in the classes now who are pointed, most with majors.
